FORUM URBIS ROMAE
The design for a cultural center at the Capitoline Hill in Rome, including a gallery, concert hall, and think tank for historical and contemporary studies. The focus is on section: connectivity and navigation occur as sectional conditions within this highly vertical site.
Layers of history form the base for three programs which weave together onto the site. Each of the programs are connected through access or vision, held together with shafts of light wells which cut through the site.
